EDUCATION
Sustainable development is one of the biggest challenges our society faces. In order to meet this challenge we must educate today’s young people about the impact of environmental damage, both globally and locally.
Our aim is to educate young people and adults in and around North Wales to increase their understanding and knowledge of the environment and demonstrate how the actions of individuals and groups can make a physical difference to their landscape.
Our Environmental Education Centre offers a range of exciting education programmes linked to the National Curriculum. Schools can choose from a wide diversity of programmes featuring environmental education, history and culture and outdoors learning.
In addition we outreach to schools promoting learning and play through confidence and team building activities.
For example our Celts programme means that Primary school children experience hands on day in the life of a Celt.
